TUSSOCK JUMPER Chenin Blanc produces flavors of apple, melon, lime and pear with hints of vanilla and honey. Attractive nuances of fynbos—the Afrikaans term for the natural shrubs and vegetation that stretch across the Western Cape— adds a distinctly South African character to the bouquet as do delicate mineral hints of slate, chalk and flint.
The vineyards are exposed to fresh ocean breezes from the False Bay which lies a mere 15 kilometers away from Cape Town. This cool climate yields delicate flavors, while at the same time providing optimal growing and ripening conditions.
