Regular customers will know of my disdain for the Gamay grape and Beaujolais in general. That said I was blown away when I tried this wine! It has a much deeper, richer color than your typical Beaujolais and has lush dark cherry fruit and beautiful spice accents. On the palate it is full bodied and shows layers of flavor that I was not expecting to see. The finish is long and smooth and I highly recommend this wine.
